accessing child domain workstation from mother domain

by rnoldlucas . Updated 19 years, 7 months ago

I have this problem, I can’t access or ping the workstation on the child domain.

I have a setup like this.

Mother domain
1 nic 192.168.1.1 dns,dhcp,domain controller,wins

child domain dns, dhcp, domain controller
2 nic 192.168.1.2
192.168.2.1
remote and routing enable
subnet of the child domain members where 192.168.2.1 – 192.168.2.255

The members of the child domain can ping going to the mother domain subnet, but vice versa it won’t work..

I have added in the route table the subnet of the child domain (192.168.2.0) and gateway 192.168.2.1 but it won’t work also.

Please advise, thanks…
