Accessing external USB3/SATA storage devices without using USB2 port

By david.dauenhauer ·
I access multiple legacy windows XP devices. I would like to use the higher speed of USB3/SATA on external storage devices, but the only way I currently can do with is with a USB2 port on the pc/laptop. With the limited speed using these ports, I might as well stay with using USB2 external devices.
Is there a way to get use of the higher speeds? Like an ethernet converter to at least use that speed?

If you don't have a ESATA Connector on the NB

Then no there is no current Adapter that you can use to gain access through either ESATA or USB3 for Note Book Computers.

Of course there are internal adapters available or even Plug In USB3 Cards for Desktop Computers but nothing for NB's.

At some stage in the future if you have a Card Bus Socket it may be possible to get a Card Bus USB 3 Card or even a Card Bus ESATA Card but at the moment there are none available that I???m aware of.
