Accessing mapped drives from Application “run as a different user”

greetings all. I have a Windows client access issue that I have encountered recently.

I have a user running Win10 64 bit on a lenovo T450. He has 2 domain accounts:

ABC\john.user
XYZ\john.user

1. He logs in to his PC with his XYZ\john.user account.
2. He has 3 mapped drives that are mapped using his XYZ domain credentials.
3. There is a web application that he runs via IE, “run as a different user” using his ABC domain credentials.
4. While using the web application, if he needs to upload a file from one of the aforementioned mapped drives (XYZ domain), he is unable to see it listed in the system dialog box, and unable to upload the required file.

Now, the problem is, in Win7, this worked fine. Now in Windows 10 this is presenting to be an issue.

Any help in solving this would be immensely appreciated!
