Accessing Outlook Calendar and Contacts

I have a client who is a small business owner that uses Outlook 2000 on her laptop at work and she wants to set it up so that she can also access her calendar and contacts from her home computer. Some suggested getting Microsoft Server, but I disagree. I am thinking about suggesting the client to use a remote tool called Go to my pc to access Outlook 2000 on her remote computer. Another user wants to access this same computer remotely as well. Is this a good suggestion? Also, would I be able to sync her calendar and contacts while being connected remotely using Go To MY PC? If so, how would I do this? Thanks
