Acer notebook so slow

i have an acer travelmate 4100 notebook.it has become so slow.i have checked the processes running in the windows task manager and i have found that there is a process with the image name ‘QtZgAcer.exe’.its CPU usage is either 99% or 98% all the time.could this possibly be the culprit?

but I had the same slow moving Acer trouble, which I found was the Empowering Technology unit integrated within.

That should at least give you a starting point – QtZgAcer could be the executable integrated within the 4100 – they differ in the differing models of travelmate.

Software tune-up may be a solution

I think if you can try to do software tuneup, as I’ve find myquickpc.com works for me.
