Acer Predator to Samsung G9 – mounting / speaker question
I am changing out a 5-6 year old Acer Predator x34 with a Samsung Odyssey G9 behemoth. I am now faced with the question of what to do with the Predator, and would like input on a couple of things from those kind folk that already have two+ ultrawide in use.
My current setup is the Predator with an older 24″ BenQ 1080 mounted above it. I have speakers to either side of the Predator.
I am considering mounting the Predator above the Odyssey but I was curious if someone that already has this sort of setup finds the difference in curve annoying?
I am also not sure what to do with the speakers now that the G9 is going to take most of my desk width. Speaker stands to raise them above the G9 or keep them behind it?
Last question is one of mounting – I need one that would be compatible with the G9’s base to hold the Predator above it (18? pounds) — or some dual mount that would hold both? I don’t believe Ergotron or Vevo has any suitable dual ones at the moment – I’ve only seen the single HX one rated for a G9.
