Acquiring Network Address with WPA

I’m using Netgear WGT624v3 & it was working fine under my original WPA assignment for about 1 year. However, I had to disconnect & lost the wireless connection, upon reconnecting.
I reset, got NETGEAR & connected just fine. I set my WPA to secure the network & I am now getting “acquiring network address”.
I don’t understand why it works fine under the default, but won’t work after setting up the profile & password.
I’ve checked & rechecked the profile & password, with no luck.
Any other ideas?
