Acrobat Reader problem

When my client tries to launch Acrobat Reader, she gets an invalid page fault at winapi.dll. This happened on version 4.0. She installed v 5.0. In uninstalled both versions, removed the Acrobat folder, restarted the computer, reinstalled 5.0 and still the same error message.
