Acrobat won’t run

Hello,

Running Acrobat Pro 6, but it won’t run past the splash screen. It’ll hang there forever and I usually have to kill the Acrobat.exe process to make the frozen splash screen go away. I’ve tried the Start>Programs>shortcuts, double-clicking the Acrobat.exe file, and double-clicking PDF files. Uninstalled, reinstalled, still no go. Tried uninstalling, and installing just the Reader, still won’t open. It was working fine just a couple weeks ago (last time I used it).
