Actiontec C1000A DSL Modem - Port Forwarding Issue

Recently, my ISP had me change my protocol from Bridged DSL (RFC 1483) to PPPoA. Up until this change everything worked fine using a Linksys WRT54GL running DD-WRT.

Now, with just the Actiontec C1000A acting as both my modem and my router, I'm having difficulty with Port Forwarding for my web server. I have a Static IP.

I can access my web server from outside my LAN via my domain name and I can access static web pages from within my LAN using the host name or internal static IP of my web server. But, I cannot access my web server from within my LAN using my domain name.

This becomes apparent even when accessing my web server via its internal hostname, because dynamic web pages (Wordpress) serve up links to my domain name that it can't access. I also host a cloud server (ownCloud) that I can't access without changing the client's cloud server - which is really a nuisance for mobile devices.

I assume I must be missing something in my configuration, but thus far I have stumped tech support at my ISP. Seems like it should just work. Any thoughts or suggestions?

BTW - I'm not sure is this is the appropriate forum for this (as none of the tags apply), but it was suggested to me.

Thank you,

Kevin Taberski
