I have a client whose laptop displays a message about an Active X program from an unknown source. It appears at the start of each boot process and when entering a folder via Windows Explorer. I’ve told him to answer NO to the prompt that asks if he wants to activate it. I’ve run Norton AV and discovered no viruses. How can I find the source of this error message without activating the Active X control?
