I have an adaptec aha-1522b card that worked in Red Hat 5.2. In 5.2 in order to get the card to work you had to specify the module and put in arguments (aha=0x340,11,7,1). In Red Hat 6.2 putting in those same arguments gets the card to detect but when I try and use my tape drive an HP T4 surestore it will not recover data properly. It writes to the tape fine but when recoving data that would normally take only 30 mins or so it now takes 4 hours + . I’ve already found a redhat page that said to use the 128o module and that does the same thing. Any ideas?
