Adding a Win2K server on an NT4 Domain

I am wanting to know whether it is possible to add a Win2K server as a BDC onto a Domain that comprises A WINNT4.0 PDC and multiple WINNT 4.0 BDC’s ( 40+ )

Will there be any unexpected issues. I was told sometime ago that you couldn’t add a Win2K server to an NT 4.0 domain unless it was installed as a member server. Is this correct?
