    Adding comments is word

I need to add comments to a word docutment that has text boxes. I am able to add them to the Tttle area but in the area where the text boxes are it is disabled. Is it not possible to add them to a text box. I tried the spaces between the box but that sends the comments to the area just before the text box. I am using Word 2000.

You can’t add comments directly to a text box, but you can change the layout of the box to something like Square, The box will now float and you can place it closer to the comment inserted in the main document.

Thanks for the verification. That is what I thought but wanted to give the user verification. I suggested that the document be resubmitted with a text box or since it is to be a check list to use MS Excel
