    ADMINISTRATIVE ID AND PASSWORD

    I BOUGHT THIS COMPUTER AND IT HAS XP. HOW DO I GET AROUND THE ADMINISTRATIVE ID AND PASSWORD. I DON’T HAVE ONE.

      Or you could use the recovery Disc’s that come with it

      To perform a clean Install of Windows Whatever and all the supplied software. That way you could never be accused of stealing someone else data that may reside on the HDD.

      Administrative Password (?)

      I’ve purchased my pc. NEW. This was a few years back though. Since then, I DO NOT remember the administrative password.
      And unfortunately, I really need it.
      I don’t want to really run the “back-up”
      cd prorams.
      I need help, Desperately.

        log in with another account and then change the admin PW?
        If this is not an option, take it to a shop!

      Find the person that you bought it from and have them change the PW for you.
      If they will not, then get out the recovery discs and re-install. If you do not have them, then get them from either the person whom you purchased the system, or the manufacturer.
