Adpater card speed

By somper10 ·
Hi,
I have a windows nt4.0 server with two 3com etherlink 10/100 network adapter cards. One is a 3c905b-tx and the other is a 3c905c-tx. How can see the network card speed (10 or 100). Also see the activity of packets being sent and received. I hope this is not to much of a ridiculous quesion.
Thanks in advance.

in NT you can't, unless you use the performance monitor maybe you can see it.
Else if you have a 10/100 switch you will see it on the lights of the switch to which speed it's connecting.

Grab yourself a free copy of coolbeans which will take care of seeing the connect speed and variance of cpu mem eth-send eth-rcv speeds.
