I am trying to filter my view in contacts of Outlook 2000. In the advanced tab, I see that there is a button that says more advanced. How do I get this option to work? The button is greyed out.
Thanks,
Nicole

In order to activate that section, you have to put criteria in the "Define more criteria" section towards the bottom. Once you put your criteria in, make sure you hit the Add to List button, and you'll see your criteria in the larger box (find items that match these criteria).
I do not see that section. I am using Outlook 2000 and I am going to View, Current View, Customize current view. Then I click on Filter then the advanced tab. Do you see what I am talking about?
If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem. Also please exercise your best judgment when posting in the forums--revealing personal information such as your e-mail address, telephone number, and address is not recommended.
