After Intalling Microsoft wireless keyboard/mouse Onboard Kbd inop

by david.wilson . Updated 18 years, 6 months ago

After installing a Microsoft wireless keyboard / mouse combination on my Gateway laptop, I have found that even when the wireless keyboard is not installed, the on-board keyboard doesn’t function properly. Several of the letters show up as numbers – it is as if the wireless Intellitype software / driver has corrupted the standard keyboard. Gateway support (no surprise) was less than perceptive. I am certain it’s a driver issue, but am not certain how to solve the issue. The machine functions perfectly with the wireless combo attached, but that isn’t always practical…

Thoughts?
