After Windows XP repair?

By dufpl ·
I decided to use the installation CD to repair the system by the option "R ". After passing across the repair process computer can not run the system. When starting XP logo appears with flashing squares, and then again, the computer boots, and so on. It can not start in safe mode or restore the last good configuration. Please help.

Repair rarely works for me

I usually end up reformatting and reinstalling. Yes, it sux, but it works. Maybe 1 time in 100 over the years has the repair option worked for me.

Much the same here here...

and if you don't save the windows genuine advantage files before you repair, you're still in a pickle. Start with removing ANY hardware you can from the machine. If it isn't necessary to start the computer, take it out and see if that corrects your problem. This fix is not a likely one but one that shouldn't be omitted before giving up.

I am not sure what you mean by "XP logo appears with flashing squares". If that is to say that the logo is exhibiting unusual behavior, I would look to the video card as the culprit.
