AGP Graphics Card In K8M800 MoBo

by j-e-allen . Updated 18 years, 9 months ago

Im trying to install a Radeon X1300 Graphics card (agp) Into my Motherboard ( K8M80-M7A )

When the monitor is plugged into the Card instead of the MoBo, I get the message “no signal input”, but when its in the Mobo it works fine.

Device manager fails to even realise that i have soemthing IN the AGP slot.

I have already disabled onboard graphics in Bios, and uninstalled and removed all the onboard software and hardware.

I thought maybe i was missing a jumper and just had to switch it, but there arent any jumpers aside from the Bios Reset, and the 2 USB port jumpers.

What Am I missing? (Im Running Windows XP Home, 2GB of DDR2 667 Ram, on a AMD Athlong 64 x2 2.4 ghz CPU)

Please and thank you :\
