We are running Caldera Linux 2.3 with a P5-90 and using Allied Telesyn AT-2500TX-001 NIC’s (10/100). The system starts up fine, and we have network connectivity for a few minutes, and then the systems drops the network. We can reconfigure network settings (just open the control and close it) and restore connections, but they only hold for a few seconds.
The Allied Telesyn web site says Linux supports this NIC – but they do not have drivers for it.
Any suggestions on how to get this NIC to work properly with this OS?
