Allow to receive emails from known conta

Hey Sphynx!

This solution unfortunately only works at the mailbox level. If you want to filter on an organizational basis, you will likely need a third party product such as Trend Neat-Suite.

However, you may be able to implement this solution at the mailbox level universally by doing the following:

Follow directions above. For organizational purposes, you may wish to create a Recipients Container specifically for blocked address where you can create them and manage them.

Once youhave done this, create a distribution list called for example ZZ-Banned-Addresses.list The ZZ will drop it to the bottom of the list so users don't have to see it all the time in the GAL.

Now, Add all of your banned addresses to the distribution list (when you create new custom recipients for this purpose, you can select File - Duplicate so that the new CRs are automatically added to this DList.

Run HEADER.EXE on your Exchange Database server and build a .csv header file to include the required fields plus the "Reject Messages From" and "Reject Messages From DL" fields.

Run a Directory Export from Exchange Admin pointing to the CSV file that you created

In Excel, Add the name of the distribution list that you created to theappropriate field(s) and copy down so that ALL mailboxes reflect this parameter.

Re-import the CSV information back into Exchange so that the this new flag is injected in to every MailBox configuration.

Remember to add to your new user creation process to make sure that all mailboxes have flag set to reject from the addresses.

What a crapload of work, but that is how we have done it in the past. I hope to hear from you and the end result!

Best Regards!
