Question

ALWAYS default back to default printer after selecting another

By David-ItZero ·
I have a client that wants to print, as default, to a printer with A6 paper (prescriptions). Then, they need to print a label on a label printer. Normal windows behavious means the printer will then be the label printer until they move it back to the A6 printer.

Does anyone know of a way (windows 10) for a program (normally google chrome) to ALWAYS print to a printer, even if the last print was on another printer?

I hope i have explained this well enough. I know this is possible, because they used to be able to do it before we took over support and migrated all hardware.

Make sure you restart your printer and check whether the issue get solved or not.
Or else you need to check this article below.

thanks but not what i meant

This is not what i meant.
Print 1: Default printer, set to A6
Print 2: Doctor manually selects label printer and prints a label
Print 3: the computer AUTOMATICALLY goes back to the default printer (Default, A6)

This would always be in the same program (chrome). The default windows action is to stick with the previously selected printer. If i were to select a non default printer, and then re-open chome, then the default would be selected again. My client DOESNT want to have to do this.
