IM TRYING TO DECIDE BETWEEN TWO LAPTOPS WHICH ARE VERY SIMILAR THE MAIN DIFFERENCE IS THE PROCESSOERS

THE FIRST IS THE
1. ACER AS9301AWS
AMD Mobile Turion 64 MK36

THE SECOND IS
2. ACER AS5633
Intel Core 2 Duo T5500

IM DECIDING BETWEEN THESE BECAUSE I DONT WANT TO SPEND MUCH AND THE PURPOSE OF PURCHASING A LAPTOP IS FOR ACADEMIC USE (IM A STUDENT)

I purchased the Acer a 9301 a few months ago. So you can make an informed decision…

The laptop is too big for one, it takes forever to load up, and Vista keeps coming up with an error message saying “Com Surrogate” or something.

I played around with my cousins laptop, Philips X59, and he is running the T5500, and from what I can tell, his laptop is more quick than mine.

Obviously there are other factors involved, but generally speaking, the specs aren’t far apart other than processor.

Plus, I prefer the sound of Intel, I bought the AMD due to money saving. yes you save money, but the AMD is cheaper for a reason.

If you’re two laptops are the same price, then that should make your decision a whole lot easier.
