Another Great Gone

Al "Grandpa Munster" Lewis is gone from among us at 95.

I am sure that he is up there comparing notes with Fred Gwynne and Raul Julia on how to score with Carolyn Jones and cage some drinks off Richard Harris and Richard Burton.

He will be missed...

With grandparents long gone, and parents, aunts & uncles rapidly falling, the loss during recent years of so many public figures who gave one glimpses into new worlds, worlds that fascinated & awed, worlds that held the promise of things yet to come, is most acutely felt.

The Mamas & the Papas are reduced to a single mother; "Monday, Monday" is upon us.
