The site you mentioned is written in WordPress. It’s widely used and powerful, and there are many freelancers available to help you.

One thing you must learn as a programmer is to write things correctly; it’s not Square Space (another content management system) but Squarespace. It’s up to you to find out if it can do what you want, or you have to find something else (like WordPress, maybe).
