Anybody know of good IT schools in PA?

    by garloom26 ·

Hello! I am currently a Junior in high school and have decided it’s time to start looking for post-high school schooling options. I’m just looking for schools in Pennsylvania that offer a good Internet Technology program so that I have an option after enrolling in a community college.

It would help to know where you would like to go to an IT school in the state. PA is a large state and you should narrow down you search area. I encourage users to share school names but do not post internet links or they will be deleted by a moderator as SPAM.

Just looking for anything in PA because of out-of-state tuition. Southern PA would be good but I’m not very picky. Should have specified.

Also I saw that Penn state had a really good IT program and it’s obviously a very well-known but expensive school. Is it worth trying to go for?

That’s awesome you’re thinking ahead! Pennsylvania has some great options for IT programs. After community college, you could check out schools like Penn State, Drexel University, or the University of Pittsburgh. All of them have strong tech programs and connections to the industry. Plus, you could look into smaller schools like Temple University or Harrisburg University, which also have solid IT offerings. Just take your time exploring and find the one that fits your goals!
