Apache configuration

By slobodan61 ·
I tried to start apache server a few times but every time I try I get following message:
# service httpd start
Starting httpd: Syntax error on line 6 of /etc/httpd/conf.d/auth_mysql.conf:
Cannot load /etc/httpd/modules/mod_auth_mysql.so into server: /usr/lib/libmysqlclient.so.10: symbol errno, version GLIBC_2.0 not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference
[FAILED]
#

Does that mean that I need to reinstal mysql server?
I would appreciate any help from you

What distro of Linux and which version of Apache are you using? Is this a first-time install? Or are you trying to get MySQL authentication (mod_auth_mysql) working?

You can see what libraries you have installed on your system by running;
ldconfig -v
Look to see if you have "libmysqlclient.so.xx". If not, you could try reinstalling MySQL. Without the particular distro of Linux it's hard to give advice.
