One just copies ASP pages to the appropriate sub-directory on the server. For example, C:\INETPUB\WWWROOT. One also just "OPENS" an ASP page using a web browser.
This is a basic Global.asa file. Copy it to the same location as your asp pages.

<OBJECT RUNAT=Server SCOPE=Session ID=MyInfo PROGID="MSWC.MyInfo">
</OBJECT>

You might want to test your asp pages on your desktop using Personal Web Server(Free with Win9.

If you have placed any connections into the page via the database tools in Visual InterDev, you need to upload the global.asa file as well. The same holds true for DTCs.

You must have an application root on the ISPs server to use a global.asa file.

It is not the ASP file that is having problems here, but a missing global.asa. This can be due to any number of reasons. Load your global.asa into the same directory and all problems should be solved.
