Acer support couldn’t help…
Aspire 5200 atx. Fresh Win98 install. Was running 95 and shut down correctly, but after 98 install it a)goes to “Now Safe..” if “disable fast shutdown checked, or b)restarts if unchecked. If unplugged (only recourse) then plugged back in, it starts without switching. Reinstalling 95 didn’t work, nor did the Microsoft supplement.
