Assigning delegates, outlook 2002

Hi all, todays question and problem is this….

I am trying to assign delegate permission to a user to access another users inbox, at this point I just need the 2nd user to be able to see the others email and receive the calendar reminders.

I have been following this document…

and it is straight forward enough, the problem I run into is when I go to Tools/options/delegates and add the name from the GAL, the permissions button is greyed out and the permissions window that is supposed to pop up doesn’t.

Any ideas what the issue is? I’ve done this many times before but have not seen this before.
