ATTACHMENT PROCEDURE..

By john_bosko ·
Hi!
I have a web client, (for reference, Remedy WEB Client).
All I want to do is just add an attachment to the application.
could somebody help me out with this..

As some other information could you also tell me how the attachments are attached, so that it goes to the respective user.. I'd like to know the process which involves the transfer of attachment..
(This is not relating to any particular application, but on a general scale, like for example any of the email engines, how do they attach and send mails..?)

This is pretty essential guys, please help
John Bosco

When you create or reply to an email and want to send and attachment,in the menu bar you will see a paper clip that will represent attachment in Outlook express, click on the clip and a window will open click on the arrow to the right of the title window, which looks as though it is My Computer window, locate which drive the the file is on,click the arrow and select the A: drive for ex: and the drive will show the files on the A:drive, select the file and it will attach to email.

Using Remedy Web client, try this......
Adding an Attachment

1. In the form, right-click on the field that has been designated as an attachment region.

2. From the menu that appears, choose Add Attachment. You can also click on the attachmentregion and press Insert.

The Add Attachment dialog box appears.

3. Select the file that you want to attach.

4. Click Open.

The file appears in the attachment field.

Your administrator can limit the size and number of attachments. If the file is too big or you have exceeded the maximum number of attachments, an error message appears.

Tip

You can also drag and drop the file into the attachment field.
