Audio Splitting

by kal_lmn . Updated 11 years, 4 months ago

Greetings,

I have a simple question here regarding a gaming headset and splitting the audio of both it’s microphone and audio. The question is as follows.

I have a headset with a single 3.5mm jack that outputs both mic and receives audio, so I can plug that single jack into my PS4 controller for example and listen to party chat and use the microphone to respond, and everything works perfectly. What I wish to know is if there is a way to split that jack into two similar ones, a female taking the headset and outputting two males that both send mic signals..

My main reason for asking this is because I wish to use the headset on my PS4 for party chat, but also wish to record my voice on my PC, but cannot find a simple mic splitter (one mic input to two mic outputs).
