Auditing Use of Cd Rom

By tscoe ·
Anybody know of a program that will monitor how many times users access a particular cd-rom on a NT server?

Problem I found with WinU is that our users are not accessing the cd-rom from the machine itself. They are accessing across the network to the shared drive. I did not see a way to set WinU to monitor remote access.

WinU would be installed on the local computers and yes, they log the number of times that the server cd-rom tower is accessed. You cannot run cd-rom stuff (legally) from users via a phone/internet connection... there's licensing issues.
