Authenticate on Linux from W2K

by the young one . Updated 23 years, 2 months ago

We have a need to get Windows 2000 Active Directory users to have a “trust” relationship on an upstream Debian Linux machine (apologies on spelling) that is acting as our upstream proxy server (outside our local firewall.)

Would this stop users on our windows domain needing to authenticate on linux box to get internet access, meaning that windows authentication is enough?

Would love to hear of similar experiences in this or ideas on how to sort it out.
