Auto Complete Address in Outlook 2k

By ljackson.desoto ·
I know OE will auto complete e-mail addresses located in the address book, and I thought Outlook did too. However, I cannot seem to find the setting to have outlook complete the address. This is outlook 2k. Thanks.

Unfortunately, the feature is not available in Outlook 2000.

Automatic e-mail address completion is not available in Outlook 2000

It is available in Outlook 2002 and 2003. You may enable it or copy a file (Outlook.nk2) from another system.

Can't get autocomplete to work

by dkmailbox49-techrepublic In reply to autocomplete

Hi there,

You seem to know about the autocomplete option in Outlook 2000. Even though I have the option checked to suggest names, it still doesn't autocomplete when I start typing an email address. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you,

Donna

Ok then whats the deal.

I agree but I cannot find a solution. Even MS states is a KB article this is not available or supported.

If you can remember what condition allows autocomplete to function please share. I'm working on it but I cannot figure it out.
