Auto Forward emails

By acarigua ·
Is there any way to forward an email to a second mailbox if the user hasnt read the email say within 30 mins? It would have to be done from exchange server I would say particularly as the user may not even be logged in. Anyone know whether this is possible?

The answer depends on what version of Exchange you are using.

You can go into Active Directory Users and Computers and create mail-enabled contacts to send to the external e-mail addresses.
You can then create a distribution group and make the contacts a member of it.
When you send to the group Exchange will expand the group and forward the message to the contacts.

Note: The distribution group should have the target e-mail address.
