AUTO-PLAY OF AN EMAIL AUDIO ATTACHMENT

By MARK.DABROWSKI ·
IS THERE ANY WAY TO SEND AN E-MAIL, WITH A WAV, MIDI OR OTHER AUDIO FILE ATTACHMENT TO AUTOMATICALLY PLAY WHEN THE EMAIL IS OPENED?
(AN IMBEDDED FILE IF YOU WILL, RATHER THAN JUST AN ATTACHMENT THAT YOU WOULD HAVE TO CLICK-ON TO OPEN?
THANK YOU!

AUTO-PLAY OF AN EMAIL AUDIO ATTACHMENT

by magellanix In reply to AUTO-PLAY OF AN EMAIL AUD ...

Yes you can! Instead of sending a plain text file, you must send email that has Web content, like an email that is in html format. Like a website. AND you must upload that sound file to the internet somewhere, maybe a free webspace provider or your isp's web service. Then you need to insert some code into the email's code (html code).
The code you must insert is this:
<embed src="bgsound.mid" hidden="true" autostart="true" loop="1">
<noembed>Your browser doesn't support EMBED, but you can still listen
to the background sound of this page by<a href="bgsound.mid"> clicking
here.</a></noembed>
where bgsound.mid is the location of your music file, for example, a wave file called message.wav and uploaded to some site, http://somesite.com/message.wav

And send! :-D If that didn't help visit:
