I have created a script to automatically shutdown the PC. Where can i run this script in a GPO using Windows 2008 R2. Any suggestion? Thanks

Scheduled task

I would create a scheduled task instead since it sounds like you want to run it at a certain time. I do that for some of my clients and it does the trick.

From what I have seen, a group policy would not know when to trigger the script unless you set it for when the user logs off the computer. However, that would be annoying to the users, especially if logging off during the day turns off the computer.
