Question

Automatic Charger Plug

By arjenp ·
Hello guys, im kinda new in developing things so i wanted to ask some questions. Im planning on creating an automatic charger plug for smartphones where in a user can set the limit of the battery percentage needed. For example ill set it to 95%, when the phone reaches 95%, the plug itself will turnoff, meaning no electricity will flow anymore. All i have right now is the topic idea but i dont know how to build it yet. can some of you help me know the things i will be needing for this project? I hope yopu can help me guys. Thankyou so much.

Let's dive into this.

I haven't seen this to be an issue for over a decade as current laptops and phones know when to stop charging. My oldest phone that I still can use is a 2015 LG G4. It's battery is still the one I bought years ago.

A phone I can't use is a Pharos m619 from before 2010 and it still has its original battery.

If you want to limit the power to such a device I suggest this:
