Automatic date entry in Outlook

By b_boy_brian ·
In the subject field when writing an email in Outlook 2002 and up, is it possible to have the date automatically inserted into the subject field along with your own heading?! If so.. how?!
Thankyou.

Yes, this is possible! Here's how.

Open Outlook. Click Tools | Forms | Design a Form...
Click Message from list under Standard Forms Library
Right click the Subject field (the area you would commonly enter test) and click Properties.
Click on the Value Tab
Put a tick in the Set Initial Value check box
Clik Edit
Click Function and selcect Date and Time
Select the approrpriate Date and Time setting eg: Date()
Click Ok 2x to close out of those windows
Click File | Save as and give the form a useful name
Now just double click on that file and look at that! The date magically appears.

Hope this is what you're after!
