automatically update a file with date appended

Hi, I have a job ran from one of the Cisco applications. It creates a .CSV file, ex, results.csv and is put in a certain directory.

I have this application running this job everyday, and everytime it simply overwrites my previous .csv file. Is there a way to automatically append my results.csv file to, for example,

2006-11-27 results.csv, then next day
2006-11-28 results.csv,…
2006-11-19 results.csv.. etc.
