Automation of Windows Update process & t

By james_simon ·
Does anyone know of a solution for automating the process of windows updates from a centralized point (server) with in an organization? I have a couple of clients that have very slow connections to the internet and to have them all use the windows update link that is provided with the OS would be very determential to their environment/speed.

What kinds of process do you or your company use for automating the critical updates for windows platforms to make the techs jobs easier?

Thanks in Advance.
Jim

We use a T1 and our tech support does all the updates when we work on each individual PC.

Patchlink Uplink 3.0 is supposed to be a good product for managing Windows Updates from a central location.
