Availability of offline application creators

I wanted to know what is out there in terms of easy to use, cheap, offline experience creators. I wanted to use a CMS to create offline experiences that include text, images and video for the museum I work for.

Can you explain what you mean with an “offline experience”. A few examples of things like you want to create might help.

I’m going to skip what the end product is as you know that already and focus on cheap and free.

Such can be done for free and cheap but at the expense of your time and maybe you having to code along the way.

There are companies that make such tools that don’t require a background in coding but these cost more.

Add in a CMS and the cost rises. Either in dollars or your time and expertise.

I’m not going to suggest any solution because so much detail is missing here. Such as target tablets, your coding skill level and an example of what you hope to achieve. There’s a lot to consider here along with your perceived use of the final product such as:
1. A tablet that the member carries along as a virtual guide.
2. Stationary interaction display.
