I want to make schedule for taking Backup in SQL Server Database which is Running on Windows NT Machine. I have Standard Edition and Desktop Edition of SQL Server Database.
I have tried doing from Wizards and also through Enterprise manager byRight Clicking and Choosing Backup.
Differential Backup is needed for me to take on Hourly basis which I have set, but the Backup is not getting done. I have also taken Complete Backup which is pre requisite for taking Differential Backup.
Also I have started SQL Server Agent services.
Please help me out by letting me know that HOW TO CREATE A SCHEDULER FOR COMPLETE AND DIFFERENTIAL BACKUP ???
also to Ensure that Backup is successfully getting Done……
I would be glad to know aboutRestore Process….
