Backup of Registry

Hi,
I have a nt 4.0 server. I would like to backup the registry. In case I need to restore the registry. I know you could make a ERD Diskette , but is that a backup of the whole registry or is that just a backup of some critical entries in the registry? I would like to backup the whole registry as in win98.. Thanks in advance…
