I need to figure out a way that on my linux box if there is a user with one terminal connection how not to let him open another one.. i believe that I can do this with a bash script but just can't seem to do it right anyone have a script that they are using to do this.. Basically this will use who and once it does that make sure that they are logged on only once

The best way to do it is to deny muktiple logins for that user. You must do it editing
/etc/security/limits.conf and putting a line like this.

username maxlogins 1
