BDC NT4.0 using outlook2000

By tbui ·
I just install a BDC NT4.0 server sp5, I am running exchange 5.5 sp4 on a member server,
when I try to connect to outlook with the administrator account or my own account I get an error"Unable to open your default e-mail folders, You do not have permission to log on". Please help.
Thank you in advance, Tbui@medcellbio.com

First set up a profile in outlook to connect to an exchange server. Also set it up to have a Personal Folder (.pst file)

That should sort it out

We have also he same case and hope i can help you with this.

1.Goto Controlpanel-Mail and Fax
2.Remove the profile you just created and make sure theres no other profile on it.
3.Create a profile
4.Click the properties of the profile you just created.
5.On the Microsoft exchange-Services look for Logon network security drill down and choose None.
6. That's It.
