    Best budget processing

    by tourism-must0f ·

I am looking for a budget phone for my 10 year old. When comparing specs I am not educated enough to evaluate the processors. Which, combined with the RAM, is most important on the list for him. He is like his dad and doesn’t have great patients when things lag or take a while to load.

Camera and screen need to be ok to decent. He mostly uses it for communication and some playing mobile games.

What’s the best bang for the buck when it comes to processing power?

As of December 2020, the best mobile processor is Apple A14 Bionic which powers iPhone 12 Lineup. The second-best processor is Snapdragon 888 followed by Samsung Exynos 2100, A13 Bionic, and Kirin 9000. Next up, we have Exynos 1080, Kirin 9000E, Snapdragon 870/865+, and MediaTek Dimensity 1200 and 1100.

I wouldn’t call an iPhone 12 a budget phone. And why a list per December 2020. Aren’t there any more recent better processors?

I already have the D15s… that’s why I was going with it. figured it would be enough. I was going to use the D15s for the 5900x I had, but got a good deal on a D15 chromax with both fans so I left the D15s in the box. Only reason I gave that a ??? was because I was going to check if it had enough clearance with the 215 case.
