LayerStack has just published a blog for the CPU Comparison By Geekbench Browser (https://blog.layerstack.com/layerstack-and-2nd-gen-amd-epyc/). They have conducted a simple comparison for the CPU used by top cloud providers with Geekbench Browser on 23rd Oct, a cross-platform processor benchmark to evaluate single-core and multi-core performance. They purchased the most similar optimized-CPU servers with 2 vCPU and 4GB Ram directly from each provider for comparison. It can be seen that LayerStack High Frequency CPU Server is rated the highest with 7**9 multi-core score. Vutlr is ranked second with 7820 points. AWS Lightsail and DigitalOcean are at the third and the fourth place with 6246 and 4670 points respectively.

It seems that LayerStack & Vultr provide the best cloud server performance, what do you think?

I’ve been using AWS since they’ve taken over the years to simplify deploying cloud servers and their pricing is both fair. I think they will continuously refine the cloud experience for us, so you’re looking for the best service provider to use then look no further than AWS. They’re also expanding into other cloud services and have recently launched managed databases and virtual private clouds.

Based on the comparison conducted by LayerStack, it appears that LayerStack High Frequency CPU Server and Vultr provide the best cloud server performance among the tested providers, with LayerStack having the highest multi-core score of 7**9 and Vultr coming in second with a score of 7820.

However, it is important to note that this comparison was conducted on a specific date using a specific benchmark tool, and there may be other factors to consider when selecting a cloud provider beyond just CPU performance. Factors such as pricing, reliability, security, customer support, and available features should also be taken into account when making a decision.

Additionally, it may be helpful to conduct further research and read reviews from other users to get a more comprehensive understanding of each provider’s performance and overall reputation.
